Bose not working in the cold?
I searched and didn't find anything so I was wondering if anyone has experienced this same thing. This morning was the first really cold morning since I've had my car (2003 Touring), it was 9 degrees when I got in it. So I go to change the channel to my normal morning station and get no sound. I tried turning it up but it was already at like 20. I tried other stations (because of course it had to be the radio station and not my car's fault!) and got nothing. Tried CD's got nothing. The display and all the buttons work, it just seems like there's a disconnect with the speaker which wasn't there last night when it was working fine. I'm hoping it thaws out or something today, but it's still disturbing. Has anyone else had anything like that?
No it didn't work at all on the way to work, but that was only about 20 minutes and the car only got really warm at the end. Its sitting in the luke warm garage now, so we'll see what happens when I get out. I'm hoping my driverside window also unthaws.
Yeah my cd player skips in the cold like a homosexual who just came out of the closet. My old 03 G35 used to do the same as well. But its funny how my mom's 04 maxima NEVER skips. All the cars have bose in them btw.
i think its something w/ nissan's headunits. because i have had it replaced 3 times (only b/c its under war.) and the **** still does it. if you keep havin the problem just go aftermarket, cheeper. a stock radio for the z is around 1200, thats what the dealership told me.
