I think you need to stop being a fanboy and buy a Z already.

acree i'm a huge fan of your work with the mirrors.

i know this is a strange request, but do you think it's possible to snap a pic of what this looks like lit up, from behind the car?

i'm wondering how noticeable this is to other drivers. i installed the V1 remote display in my ashtray so nobody would see my warning lights flashing all the time, and so i could hide the V1 display when i wasn't using it.

in the very near future i'm probably getting out of the G35 and into an SUV of some sort. when i do, i would like to do a really integrated V1 install.

My car is at the dealership right now being worked on, but I can assure you that from the rear of the car, you can't see the mirror unless you lean down to the level where the rear bumper and hatch meet.

i just meant that i was wondering if it was noticeable to drivers behind you that you had a radar detector? since you can see the car behind you in the rearview, i assume they can see the arrows on the rearview too.

either way, kudos on the excellent and clean work!

That's a really good question. I know that on my car personally, its impossible. I have 5% tint on the rear.

Look how old the thread is. OP's last post was 5 months ago. He was getting out of the business of making these a while back - I'm glad I got mine when I did.
