Default Opinions on CAS sub boxes

I am looking for something simple that doesnt take up alot of room.
I just want a more crisp clean sound.

i have this sub

http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/pro...products_id=30

i think i want to get either
this
corner magix box
http://wickedcas.com/store/product_i...products_id=50
or the glove comparment box
http://wickedcas.com/store/product_i...products_id=55

They are both about the same volume, This sub is suposed ot be decent in low volume enclosures so I dont see a problem with either set up. Just wondering what one would do the best job. Comments? Opionions.
also amp recomendations for this set up would be greatly appricated.
thanks.

assuming you have a coupe, having the hatch area corner box will be better interms of bass reproduction, as well as ease of instllation...

i vote for hte corner box...they are both good boxes for the 11kv.2

I actually have the behind-the-seat compartment enclosure from wicked CAS with a JL 10W1. I like it because I did not want to sacrifice any trunk space. However the bass isn't as tight as I would prefer, AND it rattles the hell out of the cubby door (it's behind the passenger seat). The main source of the rattle I think is the latch mechanism for the door so I might be removing the latch once the weather gets warmer.

If I had more trunk space I would have gone with the corner enclosure. I had a corner enclosurein my last car and it sounded awesome.

I have the corner majic box with a JL 10W3v3 in it. I love it; bass is good and tight without being boomy and there are no rattles whatsoever. It takes up practically no trunk space at all; I highly recommend this enclosure.

Being that you are defiantely one of the sound guru's of this board I have a quick question. Which would give better sound the corner box or the under strut box??

I'll throw my .02 in on that one... This depends on your idea of "better sound" and the type of music you listen to. I have the corner box and a friend with the under strut box (diff sub, but same size and similar power). Mine sounds more clean and precise; his sounds louder and has more "thump", but isn't as clean as mine. This has to do more with the position of the sub and the direction it's firing in the car and the surfaces it has to resonate off of than the volume of the enclosure. I listen to rock and prefer my setup; bass heads and rap listeners would prefer the under strut box, IMO.

corner enclosure will produce more bass, due to the fact that you can utilize the hatch loading of the rear hatch area, and get some more dbs out there...

if space was no limitation, i would do the corner box everytime...if someone prefers to do the behind the seat box, itwould be if someone didnt want to loose the spare or ANY trunk space,or for a ZR

both sound good, but the corner box is easier to install, and a bit louder

I don't mean to thread jack, but I was just wondering if anyone knew what the cf was for the CAS behind the seat enclosure? I would rather go this route just because I can't afford to lose anyroom in the back. Sorry, again.

no of ocurse not, wha ti meant is, if you loose the spare, you can do a system where you dont loose any real trunk space at all.

there there are three options in this case, 1. loose trunk space, 2 loose spare, 3. loose the behind the seat cubby space

thats why i said loose spare OR loose trunks space...beucase it is possible to do an install that doesnt involve the behind the seat box and loose zero trunk space...

confusing yet? lol

You seriously don't lose any real space with the corner box. It fits in real snug and just takes up the reccessed area in the corner. Unless you routinely pack up every sqaure inch of your hatch with crap, it'll never get in your way (just be sure to get a grill for the sub to protect it).
