Does anyone have this installed in the Z? It looks pretty sweet to me. It's basically a car computer that has everything nicely compacted into a single unit. I'm also curious.. is that screen a flip out or it just sits there. What I'm even more interested is if that screen could be taken out, put into the nav cubby and use a cable to wire the head unit to this screen. It's pretty pricey but it might be worth the investment since a carputer is highly expandable.

what about anti theft? does it doesnt look like there is a detachable face or maybe a code you have to enter to work?
I my move to this next?
Q1: how does the TV tuner on it work? is there a satalite service or something required?
Q2: does it have a wireless card feature. quite often i get free wireless when im parked with my fujitsu tablet pc. long story, but i would like a car pc that had that too?

Wow.. thanks a lot for the clip! The functionalities are pretty sick! What I still don't like is the fact that it's a flip out screen... I wonder if they make something similiar but with a detachable screen so I can put it in the cubby. I'd pick something like this over the Pioneer Z1 anyday!

Infill G4 is on sale in Korea. Price tag is about $2k
I found G4 demo vide clip. Although everything's in korean, you can get a good idea about the quality of this product.

I'm thinking about getting one from Korea, then install street deck.

^ Would it work in the US? What's the software is running in the video? Would street deck be able to do everything the other software is doing? I'm very interested.. hmm.. This is such a clean all-in-one unit!
PS: Seems like it has a remote control, rear view camera and some kind of sensor feature to detact the car's running speed as well! This seems to me like a must have. Forget about spending $1600 on a Pioneer Z1.

As far as I can tell, some functions will work regardless of its location such as audio/video playback. For navigation, you would need to get software that will work in the US, but I doubt the interface you see in the link above will work. Since G4 supports secondary video output, I'm thinking abut putting another screen in the cubby and use it for navigation while using other functions in lower double din section.

^ When's this G4 gonna come out in the US?! I was looking around for Pioneer Z1 and Clutchfield wants to charge $2200 for that! I'd rather get a carputer like the Infill G4.. it does more and costs less!
I actually search on korean websites (I'm fluent in korean) and read some review for G4. As far as reliability goes, i couldn't find any typical problem. Only problem that was mentioned by a small number of people which was software related, so it's an easy fix.
I also found out that Bill Gates himself bought twenty of these G4s. I think this is a good sign. =)
