Default TC CustomZ box

I just got my system installed weds. They wanted me to bolt on the tc customs box to my car, in order for them to do that they need to drill some holes in the car, so I didnt go with their idea because...
1. I dont want holes in my Z.
2. If I bolt on the box then I cant get my spare tire out.

So a long story short after every drive I have to push the box back in its place, has anybody had this problem?

Great looking box bro.

If you want to fix the box moving problem without dilling holes in ur Z then take a look at Z enclosure boxes that fit underneath the strut bar. They make an amp rack that you can screw into the back of the box so there is no dilling into your car.

You can probably bring it back to the shop that you got that done and they will whip that up for you.

Just get some pieces of cardboard and paint them black and wedge them up under the box making it a tighter fir the strut bar. Or any other material will work.

Thanks, ya i already checked into that out. I thought about putting velcro on the sides, but I think the box is too much weight it cant support it.

this is always been a good deal for the fininish, my main concerns with this box is:

1. how well does it last over time, will there be cracking, falling apart, rattles after 6 months or a year of usage

2. it essentially takes away all your trunk space, because anyhting back there hitting the box is going to scratch it

3. quite a few people have it around so its somewhat recognizable as a "prefab" box...

but other than that, for cheap and easy painted glass design, the price is insane...

Nice, 1 w6 would be enough, 2 is insane. Plus im only running it through 1 JL 500/1 amp, I thought i was going to need 2 amps.
