Question Amp Rack Specs ?

I am looking to put an amp rack in the compartment behind the drivers seat and I'd like to do it myself. Ive seen plenty of pics on this site of this being done, but I was wondering if anyone could give me more specifics on measurements/materials. I have two medium size amps and a cap to put in there, so I'd like two shelves. I'm not looking for anything flashy, just functional. Any ideas?

I built mine out of 1" aluminum angle iron. You should be able to get it at most hardware stores. You can cut it with a miter saw with a regular carbide blade. I then put it together with pop rivets. You can't see in the pictures, but there are two rivets in each corner on the sides to keep it from twisting. The width matches the mounting holes that you can see if you take the cover off. The depth is wide enough for the JLAudio amps.

Drill two holes in the top back to bolt it to the brackets in the back of the opening.

I've made this one with two shelves, but you can do whatever you want.

While I had everything open I also put in FatMat to help with the noise.

Thanks for the info.
That setup looks good, by the way. I had planned on using wood but yours looks so much cleaner.
