Hi everyone,
I have a set of Morel Dotech 6 MKII's installed in the doors, with the tweeters in the kick panels.
Of course I am using a set of spacers, has anyone seen another set of spacers that angle the midrange, or that extend them?
Being a big guy, I need all the leg room I can get get. No matter how nice the door pods are I don't seem them being practical, I'm sure I'd kick the hell out of them and so forth.
Any other options besides door pods or kick panels (foot room is limited being a size 14 shoe) for more pronounced sound? I can see that the factory grills appear to block sound. I have seen the speaker-cloth mod, but it looks a lil tacky IMHO.
Thanks...

Will likely depend on the depth and shape of the magnets on your set. I tried fabricating an angled spacer a long time ago for Morel which were 2.2" that worked ok. Used MDF, wooden rods, and fiberglass. A deeper mid will likely not work at any angle because of the window.
For what it's worth, I recently saw this on Ebay and wondered if it could have any application in the Z....
