After 2400 miles, and lots of sympathy from OUR Z community, Ive tolerated, even in fits of dillusionment, appreciated the lovely BOSE system. But now that the honeymoon period is over, ive awaken from my druken stupor. I cant do this anymore. Ive started lookin around town & the net for componnents, which is the first step, and installers, (2nd). I have come up with a Game plan:

Im gonna put infinity kappas 6.5 (even though i like the reference, my bro has MBs, and i used to have Polk MMs, I want that silver trim to match all around) in the door and factory tweet locations--yeah , yeah i know, BUT ILL MAKE IT FIT!! j/k Im gonna leave the rears alone until i blow em, and add infinity perfect 10s.

I also plan on using the LINE to RCA adapter so i can keep the stupi,, im sorry, the nice little HU and still add an amp

3 questions: has anyone used the Line converters to keep the HU and been pleased?

Is it ok to face the sub/s toward the front (under the roll bar)?

And, does anyone want to buy my old system so i can afford all this stuff? (12 kicker comp, 2 10 Punch HX2 both w/ boxes--Houston only)
