I went to a shop, and the guy was trying to sell me some Phoenix Digital speakers. I told him I wanted some Inifinty's, but he was like, these are way better, have you ever heard of them? I said no, so he gave me this long story about brands that I never heard of. So my question is, was it all bs or real?

 

Depends on whether or not he had the Infinities you were looking for. Sure the Phoenix speakers will sound better than the Infinities, if you are not able to compare the two that is. A common sales tactic to keep your business even though they do not have what you are looking for.
