Default OBDII to USB?

Which do I need? There is a ****ton on eBay and I can't seem to figure out which is compatible with the Z.

You'll still need the software to read it I believe. I just started looking into this myself.

I saw a scantool unit for about 10 bucks less but I don't know if its compatible with the Z. OBDII may be OBDII but I don't want to spend money unless I'm reasonably confident I'm getting the right thing.

I'm not sure if there is cheaper. I bought that OBDII and it works amazing! I love it, comes with software and lots of other software is compatible w/ it.
