Default what is that subwoofer size?

Guys, seriously forgive me. I have no manual cuz I bought a used car. Anyways, I'm upgrading my sound system. I already know what speakers I am getting except for the one speaker. I believe it's subwoofer? It saids Bose on it but I think it's empty..What size is that?

its a ten, a free-air ten. You cant just throw a sub in there, it'll sound like shyt. do some searching to find out what your options are.

Yeah. . .I've heard that you'd have to build ur own box inside there to get good sound. Either that or Dynamat it.

i would just go with a small box in the back. trust me, it wont take up a lot of space and sound 10x better.. just be sure to get the right sized box for your sub
