Anyone ever been caught with a Radar Detector?

What happens if you get caught with a Radar Detector?
Are they illegal, technically? What about jammers?

Legally, nothing unless it's illegal in the state you live, such as D.C.

In reality, cops don't like them and are more likely to give you the speeding ticket instead of a warning.
