No way! They definitely refused to do anything of the sort for me a few years ago. Said I had to have a printed advertisement from another franchise store like circuit city and it couldn't be a sale item, wtf?

 

Its the Best Buy at I-45 and Cypress Wood Road across the street from Spring High School that I bought the Pioneer D3 radio from but they had price matched a local stereo shop in Houston, TX.

I also bought my Sony BRAVIA 46" 1080p Flat-Panel LCD the same price matching way at the Best Buy Woodlands TX (Store 167) for a super low internet price! I know this because I use to worked at Best Buy for few years ago while I was in college so I know all of their policies.

Yes, they are willing to price match with proof and that item must be in stock at the place where you trying to price match with...

 

so if i get a print out of the wisetronics page and bring it to best buy, they will confirm to see if wisetronics has it in stock. if they do, then they'll pricematch it. is that it?

That is true to a certain extent depending on the store managers I guess but some...more like most store managers that I know want to make a sale to boost up their sales number for the month and will honor the either local retail competitor (in my case the Stereo EFX which was the local stereo shop in Houston willing to sell it to me for that price) so they matched it. Like I said before when I bought my BRAVIA 46" 1080p Flat-Panel LCD which was at the time priced at $3999.99 + tax when they first came out and I was able to walk in and buy it at Best Buy for $3100 + tax with the internet add that I had brought in. You will never know unless you try and talk to a manager....because you might be able to save more money than you think so that you can spend it else where like buying something your car!

okay, im gonna try this weekend. I've already printed out a copy for reference so I can show the best buy workers. Hopefully, they'll do it without giving me too much of a hard time.

I just got my Avic - D3 today for $73.00 at Best Buy...

That's after the installer accidentally dropped a tweeter on the hood and left a deep scratch about a 1/8" long...Now I have to get the hood repainted...Silver Alloy...

i work as an installer at circuit city and heres the deal with price matching. it has to be a local competitor and they have to have it in stock. also it cant be a wholesale store such as sams club and costco because some of the products they get were refurbished. however with price matching its really up to the store whether or not they want to do it. like if sams club has it for $20 cheaper than us then fine, we'll price match it just cause its only $20. also if they are having it installed by us then we'll could fool around with the price a little more. same thing goes for extended warranties. buy the warranty through us and you might get a little bit of a price drop
