Lightbulb Subwoofer Rattle Fix

I installed a10" Pioneer Premeir Subwoofer in the provided 10" space where the Bose normally sits. However, there is a major rattle ing problem with the metal that it gets mounted to. I have tried everything from Dynamat extreme, to fiberfill in the entire enclosure? Has anyone else had this problem and know of a good fix? I dont like having a subwoofer box in the hatch. Thanks.

I had the rattles there also and it just took ALOT of dynamatt. Expecially at the bottom of the bracket and the top. The screws for this area aren't close enough together to get it tight. I think I ended up doing three layers of dynamat across the top and the bottom of the sub mounting bracket.

I have a free-air pioneer sub and I used a layer of dynamat inside and out and it killed all the rattles. Make sure the sub is mounted to the metal on either foam or dynamat....not touching the metal itself. Also, the sub was hitting the cover on heavy base notes, so I had make some adjustments there to eliminate the rattle as well.
