2007 Dash Removal

Default 2007 Dash Removal

I've looked up and ready the walkthroughs for dash removal and wanted to know if there are any new things to know regarding the 2007.... i know the hazards are now in the first panel to come off.... anyone have an '07 dash removal walkthrough? planning to do it tomorrow and put some holes in my cubby... THANKS!!!

should be the same as the '06. i know there are a couple of guides out there for that model.

there are already two holes in the back of the cubby, no need to drill, i just had my satellite radio installed in the cubby and it looks sick!

its really easy man heres a link to help ya http://www.3 50z-tech.com/zwiki/Head_Unit_Installation just basicly pull up on the back of the shifter when that comes up unscrew the screws on the headunit. Then pull up have to pull pretty hard up past the guages and it will pop out.

Make sure you disconnect all harnesses going to the AC controls and the gauge cluster.

My 2 Cents -- Do not touch any yellow harnesses. Place masking tape on plastic dash pieces prior to start of job - Dash scratches easily.

Only thing changed that I noticed was the wire for the gauges was in a different spot. A new type of clip.

yeah its really easy to get off the guages just squeeze the pin and it slides right out. I didnt even disconnect the ac controls just turned it a little its long enough to where it wont pull it hard. then i just poped out the dash it depends on what exactly you wanna do with it if you need to take the ac controls out or not.
