06 UK 350z iPod install
Hi
I have an 06 UK spec 350z and I'm trying to get an iPod hooked up into the head unit. The unit is the factory fit non Bose unit. I got a USA Spec PA11-NIS but it doesn't fit, the plug that connects to the CD changer socket is different, it's too small (see pics). USA Spec have been useless, they ignore emails and don't want to talk to me.
Is it possible to rewire the plugs to get it working?
Thanks
Tim.

I imagine it is. You could but an Autoleads ISO convertor adapter and then splice and solder from there. You really need a pin-out diagram though so you can check the colours are the same etc. Has the USA plug got the same amount of 'pins' and just a different plug?

I've been trying to find a pin-out for the CD plug but no luck, I can find the radio pin-outs no problem but not the CD. I'll have to take the radio out of the dash again to check the number of pins actually used and see if they match up. I'm doubtful that the colours wil match though...
