Where is the stock amp located in a 2003 z? is there a special hardness needed for a alpine 205w head unit..

 

if it's in the same location as the 06 and 07 models should be in the spare tire compartment, as you will see on the drive side under the cover/carpet in cargo area there is a plastic housing the amp actually sits under that plastic. Kind of a pain to remove.
