Hi there, i have bought an Alpine TME-M760 LCD and am thinking of hooking it up myself. But i want to bypass the handbrake and footbrake wiring to have the screen on while driving. For those who have fitted LCDs, what did u do to have the screen always on???

Is there a kit i can purchase, or am going to have to befriend an electronics genius.

I can only speak for the Farenheit 7001, but there is no handbrake wire. I just tapped into the "always hot" wire and the ground wire on my stereo harness. Guess that doesn't help ya

 

Just let your local audio store to install the screen and let them figure it out. That's what I do...
