Default Rear-view mirror/new subs problem

I recently upgraded the sound system in my Z, including two 12" subs in a Zclosure. The bass is awsome, but whenever I play it at moderate bass levels the rearview mirror pivots down. I'm not sure how to tighten the ball joints in the mirror arm. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Not sure if there is a way, nor can I see how they would be that loose to drop the mirror when the bass hits, but not when driving over rough road surfaces. If your bass is THAT strong, I would be worried about your hearing before worrying about your rear view mirror.
