Hidden Antenna?
I put one of the S2000 stubby antennas on my Z and I like the way it looks but the reception is really bad! Has anyone tried one of the hidden antennas there are on the market. Like the one on the link I attached below? If so, how did it work? I'm thinking about keeping the short antenna, but just for looks, it will not even be connected. I plan on using a hidden one. Any feed back would be helpful.
AMPLIFIED ELECTRONIC
AM/FM ANTENNA
(ACTIVE MAGNETIC TYPE)
Designed for optimum AM/FM reception. Excellent solution for Streetrods, Show Cars, Classics or any vehicle where a conventional antenna is not desirable.
● Multiple mounting options
● No Drilling or grounding required (radio must be grounded properly)
● Requires 12-volt power
● 104” Power and Antenna Cable

Sorry if this sounds stupid, but what do you mean "the depth of the motor"?
I bought the antenna from Ebay. Are they different any where else? It just gets really bad reception.

Unless you buy a fake S2k antena, the REAL s2k antena works fine ! I had it for about 4 months now and reception is perfect!
