Here they are for about 55 each, http://cgi.ebay.com/2-ROCKFORD-FOSGA...QQcmdZViewItem
Do you think these will give me a nice clean sound, and if so what amp would you recommend. They are each 150W RMS continuous 300 Max.

my preference is always paper cones, silk tweets
so though the punch will sound clean , not my particular favorites
on a positive note the P2 are probably RF best sounding sub

the subs need to split 500 watts if your installing a pair or 250 watts for one
not less
i could recommend great amps , kinda like i recommeded great subs, but you are gonna want RF regardless what i say
so you might as well get a T5001BD

i have ONE alpine type R behind a kenwood KAC-8103D (i think) it is clean and perfect for cleaning up the bass, while not overpowering in the least. got for $99 sub and $112 amp. PM me for pics/details.
It is CLEAN, sounds like you are in the same position as me, college student of a budget. Alpine type R is the way to go, no questions asked.
oh its a 10" also.
perfect setup for a college budget.
