Default Trouble Uploading Pics on AVIC D3

GRRRRRRRRRR i've already wasted 2 CD-R's!!

I selected less than 20 jpeg pictures that are at 500x240 resolution.
I changed the freakin' names to just letters and numbers. But this adds up to only 700k.

I pop in my blank CD-R. Create "PICTURES" on the desktop and put those 18 or so pictures in. burn that to the CD.

Then select my "MY SOFTWARE" folder that has nothing but itunesinstaller.exe, and other executable programs. And put that in the CD but not in the PICTURES folder.

It's over the 1.8 MB size minimum. Check! But it still won't read from this disc. Says it can't find a PICTURES folder at all!!

what am I doing wrong?

I had some trouble on my sister's too. I had to try the disc 5 times before it read it last time. Just keep ejecting and reinserting and if that doesn't work, maybe try reburning with a different file as the dead space.

well it turns out i didn't need to fill that dead space.

just put the pictures folder even though it was less than the 1.8mb and it worked.

if anyone else has trouble, try that.
