EQ install question
I had my system professionally installed, but was disappointed to find that every time I turn on the car, I have to press a button on the equalizer (alpine ere-180) to get the sub to activate. i called alpine and they said that this wouldn't be the case if the installer had the eq hooked up to a constant 12 volt source. i don't have much wiring experience, so can this be done fairly simply and how so? the eq is currently in the glove box (thus the pain in the *** to hit the button every time). thanks...
Take it back to the original installer and demand he/she correct it. No, it's not hard to find the 12v accessory connection, but you spent your hard earned money so that you wouldn't have to do it yourself!
Good luck,
