hehe i suggest you stpo reading other peoples opinions...it will just drive you nuts and you wont be able to think or eat or sleep cusae you are muling over the decisions, weighing the countless decisions etc etc...

just pick a set and go for it, with the stuff you are looking at, you relaly cant go wrong. waht sounds better to one person may not apply to you...

also remember honetsly 90 percent o how the system sounds is in the install and tuning...so...get that part squared away and yo uwill be fine

yeah i know, im very selective on who's opinions i listen to. i usually creep around and just observe everyones posts and this way i can see who actually knows what the hell their talking about. then and only then i will actually take those certain peoples opinions seriously.

im going to do the install myself, and with the help of your kick panels!! the only help i really might need is with the tuning, but i think i can handle that. if not im sure i can find some help.

responddd cool...have fun molding the A pillars, just did a set of corvette A pilars today, and the Z is a similar design, its not hte easier molding job in the world, as you want the tweets to either directly pointing at each other across, or back at you, you dont want them to aim right at the window following the stock A pillar shape...

The tweeters on the SR's fit perfectly into the stock sail location. This is one option. The other option is to mount them in the A pillar and use the supplied angle brackets to aim them on axis at each other which is the recommended method.

One thing I have to say is these components need time to break in. I'm talking about a month or so to reach full potential. I will say that they have improved in the 3 days I have had them installed.

Anyway, here are some pix:

i think hes going to mold them into the A pillars...

here is one i did in a corvette, its a different car but hte shape and angle orientation of the A pillar is somehwat similar to the Zs, so in order to point htem across, it takes a little more molding than other cars...though the vette has the added disadvantage of having almost no space behind the A pillar to sink it further in...

i am not a big fan of hte stock sail location...tonally and imaging wise...

i can make them for you, but it wouldnt be cheap, to do it properly requires a lot of time, about 3 times as much time as kicks...

and you better have time alignment to properly take advantage of them.

if you are intersted let me know, unlike dash pods, i can acutaly do these for people without the car being here...but again, its going to be pricey and takes a long time...

i have heard a few set ups with the polk sr's and i am planning on doing my next system with them. i'm currently using fusion audio in my show car...but i want to get away from the green set up.

i was debating on going back to jl audio or doing some rockford fosgate but i really like the polk sr's.

Nazar on the forum already offers a perfectly find door pod, thats his part i prefer to do the kicks. i dont have the kind of set up anway to mass produce tons of stuff, i barely have time to do kicks here and there.

just PM nazar about door pods.

If you want specific kind kinds of pods he doenst offer, say for an oversized speaker or one with the tweeters, i can sometimes build them, but since i dont have a Z myself to mold off of, i prefer to do kicks
