I/E:

BB sells it for $700
CC's price is $750
CC will price match the $700 plus an addition $5 off.

Total price: $695.

Sorry about that. If you want, I will check the CC near myself, and maybe I can buy it and ship it out to you?

You are correct in the Price Match. I misunderstood. The difference is 799 and 699 near myself though. So I guess 689 - the 200 rebate.

Still a great deal.

Does the rebate print with the receipt or is it in-box?

The Rebate is on Pioneer's website.

Here is a link to it :

OHHHHH... I thought it was from CC

Don't bother trying to price match. Coupons are never price matchable.

I think you might be misunderstanding me. Sorry but I am typing this as well as on the phone with all these stores.

Circuit City has the Nav for 799, where as Best Buy has it for 699. You can either, Price Match from Circuit City for Best Buy's price,

OR

You can use the 10% coupon from Best Buy AT Best Buy.

The last step would be to use the 200Dollar Rebate from Pioneer which is valid in both Best Buy and Circuit City.

Wrong. If you read the details of the rebate, it states that it is not valid from stores such as BB, CC, Crutchfield, etc...

I'm a dealer and I don't understand how these people do these prices. I'll let everyone know that dealer cost is $675; make sure the sources you're buying these from are legit.

Well hey, I'd rather let everyone know the price and keep you from buying unauthorized. I wouldn't expect anyone to walk into my shop and say "I know that you pay $675, and that's what I want it for." I'd tell anyone that did that to go screw themselves with a twig. But, I wouldn't mind OTC for $150 profit or so - to 350Z owners, anyway.

Ok maybe i'm not understanding. Are we talking the Avic D3x (includes bluetooth, ipod adapter, remote) or just the plain old Avic D3? Best Buy only sohws the D3 so does circuit city. I still think the best deal is al-eds.com. The D3 is $549, the D3x is $699 all shipped for free!!!

Also any idea what Al & Ed's is charging for install?

awesome thread, I was actually just trying to find this info myself and then I hit the new threads button. Edit:
Ok, so if you can only use the rebate at certain stores, these are the prices I found at authorized retailers that are not excluded:
JR.com: 779.99
or 6thave for 598 (http://www.6ave.com/shop/product.aspx?sku=PIOAVICD3). This seems to be the best, obviously. It says that the "rebate has already been applied". It must be talkign about the pioneer one, but any idea if its possible to get an additional 200 off? Im guessing not...

yeah seems like a lot of people were looking for the same answer ha ha.

looking at those, id still get it from al-eds at 550.00 But i am told the deal on the D3X ends tomorrow night, so i assume it also ends for the D3 as well.
http://www.al-eds.com/Pioneer-AVICD3...FSGWGgod2UhMCw

they dont give the Metra dash kit and the harness you need, so that adds an extra 20 dollars to the price.

BTW: if anyone needs the metra pieces, i found them here the cheapest:
http://www.beachaudio.com/

And here is the link to the thread that tells you what kits to buy for the d3:

Well, originally i opened the thread to talk about the d3x but ended up talking about the d3 as well.

I agree with you on the Al eds. they seem to be the most legit, yet cheapest place to buy from.

So im guessing it would be too good to be true to be able to use the rebate on the 6th ave site?
