Beautiful driver!!! How does it stack up to the heavyweight?

the RD pictured and what i was using was a 15" RD alpha V.2 DVC 2 ohm

i was gonna buy the RD heavyweight but at the last minute opted for the DD 9515G instead

now that being said the Alpha is an SQL driver the DD 9515G an SPL driver

the suspension on the alpha is softer and it sounds great and takes gobbs of power

the DD is just painfully loud i said PAINFULLY in 25 years i am using ear plugs to listen at 3/4 to 100% volume
did i say PAINFULL

the DD at 35 hertz still maintains some SQ

i am pleased as punch with the DD

i opted for carbn fiber dust cap a $ 60 option making the DD $800 delivered

i was gonna get the composite cone but that was a $ 250 option

i have always been a fan of paper cones so i choose against composite

anyway the DD 9515G is basically bullet proof
