Default Looking at an in-dash NAV

Heya guys, I'm about to buy a CLk conv for my wife. I'm planning on putting an in-dash NAV in there as MBs comand is STILL CD based.

Any suggs on nav units?

I have the alpine nve82a, its great, but I was wondering re: the new pioneer 910 bundle that has the touch screen and voice recog. I think that rouxeny had a 900? Hows the voice rec now?

p.s. just finished residency yesterday...WOOT!

Hey, congrats on finishing. One more year for me. Um, the Pioneer system looks pretty good. I'm personally against touch screens, it'll always have fingerprints on it. As for the voice recognition, it's nothing amazing. Basically, it can recognize all the pre programmed things, "New Destination, POI, home, Address Search" but has trouble with new words like the actual destination. To be honest, I haven't used it that much because I'm fine with the remote and I can just click on old bookmarked destinations. I haven't spent any time with any OEM nav system so I don't know how it compares to them, but overall I'm satisfied.
