I try to moderate the loudness now but luckily my Asian senses keep my hearing somewhat intact and usable.
As for the mirror... its just the Man trying to hold it down

During recording.
The largest cannon fire removed the glass from the first floor windows several hundered feet away.
Back to the subject. As you can see from the attached link, this is a common problem on the older Homelink mirrors. You can clearly see where they have addressed the issue. You might want the get one of the newer versions. I hade the same issue and once I upgraded to the new model, no more issues.

You get one set of ears to destroy so choose your song carefully.
^ Damn...sorry to hear that.
Yeah my friend loves to listen to his music loudly. His subs going off and everything. I actually hate riding in his car because it attracts way too much attention when he's pumping his music.

BTW, the OEM mirror is made by Gentex. You can check ebay or other sources to see if you can find a replacement mirror or replacement parts.

Maybe seal it up somehow next time to prevent it from coming apart? I still don't get how you are knocking rear view mirrors off. I like my music very loud? I know the risk from damaging your ears but I enjoy it for some reason, will most likely regret it in the feature, I assume I'm somewhat deaf now because everything I hear is not loud enough for me.
