Default wiring to 1 ohm
hey guys alrdy searched but couldnt find n e thing on this

how do i wire my subwoofer and amp to 1 ohm??


o the sub is an mtx 9500 dual 4 ohm and the amp is a mono hifonics amp

the lowest you can wire that sub for is 2ohm by connecting all the + together to the amp + and all the - to the amp -

To get a 1ohm load you'd need a dual 2ohm sub

correct if you only have one sub you can only got to 2 ohm if the sub is duel 4 ohm.....

jl website has full wiring diagrams.

at 2 ohms ill still b running 1000rms so im happy the sub requires only tht much
