There are some major differences that the Kenwood has over the Alpine, and they are listed as follows.
1. Navigation built in (Alpine you must purchase seperate dock)
2. Bluetooth Buillt in (Alpine you must purchase seperate module)
3. 2 Year Warranty (Alpine only 1 Year)
4. 5 Volt Preouts (Alpine only has 2 Volts)
5. 5.1 Capable (Alpine you must Purchase seperate processor)
6. Built in EQ, Time Aligment, DSP (Alpine you must purchase seperate processor)
7. As stated above better Ipod Interface, but that is just my opinion.
That pretty much about does it. You should be able to make up your mind pretty easily now. (I hope)
