All these posts and a majority of them really don't answer the OPs question. To get back on-topic (and I am guilty of the off-topic banter as well) a 12" sub could be made to fit somewhat underneath the rear strut bar with some ingenuity and a box builder who is good with fiberglass. As of right now no one offers anything off the shelf that is what you are looking for.

That is the worst speaker placement in a 350Z, You want the sub facing back if you are doing it in that area, Similar to JL AUDIO stealtbox or our 3X10" enclosure. I believe same company you quoted also has a design for rear firing.

i have a 12 inch right now in my car.. its in a custom box n it took some time to make but i love it and wouldnt trade it for 2 10s.. im trying to put up pics but im lost.. let me try again..

i have one 12 inch under the strutbar in a custom box.. i made it myself since i didnt feel like spending 300 bucks for one.. it really bumps too .. broke my home link twice.. but i love it

^Any pics of the backside of the box while it is installed in the car? (The point of view from the seats looking back towards the hatch.)

its basically black and flat covered with felt matching the carpets.. i would take a pic but its covered with an amp rack... ** the box is for sale if anyone is interrested**
