I usually mount the Focal crossovers to the center area of the door, a little to the top and back of dead center. There is a area that is about 8" wide by about 5" high that indents and has an "x" pattern in the metal. You will have to remove the foam block from the back of the door panel and use short screws so you don't have issues with the window mechanism, but I have have used the same spot for many types of crossovers. Even the huge old school MQ Quart MusiComp 3 way crossovers fit there. Here is a pic of a door with the panel removed, but I don't have one with a crossover mounted to it. The location I am talking about is right below the foam covered cables on the black part of the door.

Thanks Guys. I plan on re-wiring my system this 4th of July weekend since I'll have off from the 3rd to the 7th. I think when I remake my amp rack I'll try to mount the x-overs on the rack so I can make all my adjustments without having to remove the door skins. However this does help if I can't do that. Another option is buying a nice EQ or something.
