I am looking at the Xenarc 700TSV, but have noticed some people have opted for the cheaper model (DS700YYV). From the brightness specs on Xenarc's website to the brightness specs listed by the person selling the DS700YYV, I have noticed that the Xenarc screen is 20 units brighter. When emailing the vendor of the DS700YYV, he told me the Xenarc spec is a typo. Is this true or is he jerking me around to sell his product?

(It will save me close to $100 if I buy the DS700YYV).

Any info would really help. I want to make sure the screen will be bright enough to see well in the car regardless of how sunny it is. By the way, I already have the Eclipse program for when it gets dark out.

 

I don't have one yet, but people seem happy with the DS Customs version over on the www.mp3car.com forums. Probably a lot more concentrated experience over there on the monitors if you want to read others' opinions.
