Default NAV control panel removal

I read the write-ups on removing the center dash panel and the follow-ups for removal of the control pad for the factory NAV. I tried to pry mine up to remove it, but it seems as though it is going to break. What is holding it down? How do I know if I'm doing it right or if something really is getting ready to break?

Its literally just plastic clips that need levering up, its quite a sturdy piece of plastic and requires a bit of force

::But if u do break it i will not be held responsible::
