Hi,

I put an Alpine HU and some 6x9's in my truck (which I bought to take places I don't want to drive the Z), but the sound is pretty bad. Incidentally, the stereo cost almost as much as the truck!

The speakers are in the doors, which are just big hollow pieces of sheetmetal. So I guess this is a lot of the problem. I just can't get the sound equalized. It sounds pretty muddy.

Does anybody have any suggestions for tightening up the sound? I really don't want to have to take the speakers out and put them under the seat in some boxes, or something like that.
