Default Speakers

I just installed the Pioneer F900 and Im looking for some component speakers that will fit in the stock door location. I was looking at the Infinity Reference 6020cs which will fit with a spacer. However, I can get an excellent deal on the Pioneer TSA-1702C. They say they are 2.5 inches deep which, I know is the general limit with the door. However, I have heard of people not being able to fit 2.5" deep because the magnet sticks out too much. Does anyone know if they will fit? Thanks

Your best bet is to buy the spacers.

In my experiences, deeper high-quality speakers have always produced better bass.

The Infinitys seem to work well off of the deck, but if you are planning on adding an amp I would look at some higher quality speakers. You can do the ghetto spacer and just cut out your stock speakers to use the plastic ring as a spacer, but I would go with Bing or Nazar's pods.
