help me wire my subs
i have 2 kicker solobaric l7 10 inch subs with rockford fosgate p6002. my subs are 4ohm DVC. i was wondering if i could wire them as 1 ohm like mono. i know that my amp are not supposed to be wired as 1 ohm, they recommend setup as 4ohm max. my subs are 600rms and peak is 1200 each.and my amp is peak 2100 or so. can i wired them as 1 ohm mono subwoofer?

The Fosgate P6002 is only stable to 4 ohms bridged, so as the other poster said you will cook the amp pretty quickly at 1 ohm. With the subs you have you need to series the voicecoils on each sub, then paralle the subs together and bridge the amp. You could also run 2 ohms stereo, but the output will be the same as 4 ohms bridged, so there is no advantage to it.

as mentioned above, you got a bunch of ways to hook it up, you can run each sub in series to get 8ohms, and then run them in paralell to get 4ohms, or run each in paralell to get 2ohms, and run them in series to get 4ohm, results are hte same, or run them each in parallel and run it 2ohm stereo, as mentioned, similar power.
i would do option 1 or 2...prolly option 1 beucase its easier wiring wise.
