Default Usa Spec Ipod with 2005 Bose InDash Changer?

I have read a few how-to's on using the Usa Spec adapter to get an iPod to work. I am a little confused.
I have the 2005 Bose stereo. I has buttons for CD6, Tape, and Radio. If you press Radio enough times, Sat comes up (I don't subscribe, but get the sample).
Is the Usa Spec compatible with this setup?? I assumed I could harness it into the Sat connection.

I don't know about the sat connection, but I plugged it into the cd changer controls and it works great. Let me know if it works for the sat connection.

It plugs into the CD changer input, and you press the "CD" button twice to get to the iPod. It just makes the iPod act like a CD-changer. Works perfectly, I have one installed (mine's on a Bose system, but it will work as long as your stereo has a CD-changer input, and I think yours does).

Is there anyway to do this with the one CD, base radio in the Enthusiast model?
