Default Sub and amp on factory Bose

So, I have a 12" sub in a box ready to go and amp. I have all wires and everything needed to install it. How hard would it be to do it myself? Me and my Dad don't really have to much experience in car audio, but I would like to learn and do most of the work on my car by myself. Would I be better off taking it somewhere and paying them to hook it up?

It is pretty easy if you have some basic knowledge about soldering. The biggest pain is running the rca's, power, ground, remote from the battery/head unit to the amp. If you are comfortable taking interior panels off (there are some decent write-ups on the process) then I say go for it!
