New Nav CD
Idk if this would be the right place for this, but where would I be able to purchase an updated a nav disc for my '03 Z. Right now it has the CD it came with and the graphics on it are kinda shitty (Idk if that will change with a new CD) and there are some roads that aren't showing up for me.

Tell me about it. The stealership has many ways of upselling brand specific items. I am also trying to upgrade to the latest version. My friend has an 08 titan with navi. I'm gonna try to burn his dvd and hope that it will work on mine.

I did a little bit of searching and discovered that the 03 system could only upgrade up to the 6.2 version, which is an 05 factory software. $70.00 in ebay. The 7.1 version for the 07 and 08 are at least double that. And the software is only interchangeable between the murano and the 350z.

That would be completely up to you. If i had the resources to upgrade, why not. Sad to say that the hardware in our cars could only be upgrade to a certain point. Anything beyond that requires you to buy the later version of hardware and software which can get pretty pricey. At that point, the aftermarket ones are the way to go.

I'm not so sure if you'd be able to connect a dvd player to your existing monitor/button pad. I have never heard of anyone doing that. I can imagine that it's a pain in the ****. That's probably why most people just buy an aftermarket system and fit it into the stock compartment.
