No more Bass......
i have a quick question for someone. I have a touring Z with the Bose sound system in it. Well i swaped out the bose HU for a rosen double din unit an the bass hit alot harder than it did the with the stock bose HU. Now i just put in a kenwood flip out HU and the bass sounds like it is turned off but its not. It has pretty much nothing just a little thump. I was wondering if i hooked up something wrong or if there is something i can do with out putting a new sub an amp in my car. Thanks for any advice.

[QUOTE=Paul350Z;6866443]Bose sound system ... there's your problem.
why did the bass sound real good with the rosen double din Headunit with the stock bose speaker but it doesnt with the kenwood. Kenwood is a better name then rosen but the rosen sound 10x better

my guess was that the settings on the rosen had the bass portion of hte freq boosted, hence you ge that "bass"
you can try the same up the bass freq on the kenwood, but overall, its not a good way to get realistic bass, it just tends to sound boomy and bloated and not good for the overall health of the speakers.
