Default Quick Installation Question

I am installing an AVIC Z2 into my car this weekend. I have installed a similar unit before as well so I have a pretty good handle on what I need to do just have a question about how to ground some of the wires. I have 4 connections that need to be grounded:
  1. Regular ground for the Z2
  2. Ground parking break for bypass
  3. Ground 2nd wire for bypass
  4. Ground IPOD Adapter

I am planning on grounding via a ring terminal connected to where the bracket for the radio mounts to the chassis behind the dash. My question is do I need to use 4 separate ring terminals (1 on each wire) or can I just splice the ends of the 4 wires together into 1 single ring terminal and ground it all together?

Thanks

I personally would use a barrier strip. But if you want to take the easier way, use a ring on each wire and ground using 1 screw using proper screw grounding technique. This way if you need to remove 1 wire in the future, you don't have to cut anything.

I was thinking of using a barrier strip actually but I'm not sure how to wire it...I'm guessing you just run one cable from the barrier strip to ground on the chassis and then run everything that needs to be grounded into the barrier strip?

Some barrier strips are different in what type of bridge they come with, but basically, yes. It just makes for an easier install/uninstall/change in the future. But ring terminals are just fine as well.
