I have the same speakers installed in the front. i cut out the factory speaker and used its shell as a spacer. how do these sound to u ? i m not too happy with these i have em hooked up to a planet audio 5 channel amp with 100watts to each channel and 300watts going to a sub. over all i think the mids r too low and high notes r too sharp for easy listening.

I think its the crossover. I have the same crossover in my setup which consists of CDT ES06 woofers and Seas 1.5" silk dome tweeters, both of which are supposed to have much more mellow highs and warmer sounds. When I first put them in the highs were way too sharp and overpowered the rest of the system. I got around that with the EQ on the X-Meridian, but honestly I think I'm going to end up ditching these and going with something a little better, probably from CDT.
