Default Third wiring clip behind non-base stereo?

Last night I tried to install a new head unit in my brother's 2005 enthusiast coupe with base (not Bose) sound using the metra wiring harness. After plugging the new head unit in, it would not power up at all. I double checked my wiring to the harness and confirmed that everything was as it should be.

Well, it turns out there is a third clip behind the head unit that must carry power. We tried turning his headunit on without that clip plugged in and it does not power up.

I have searched and searched for wiring diagrams but only find information about the two clips that I already have wired up. Is this a change for the 2005-up models?

We tried calling a reputable local stereo shop and they said that there were only 2 clips as far as they know. Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure about the third clip. Photos and diagrams are always helpful.
