Default Sub Placement in the tire well

Maybe this was posted before, but I wonder how much cubic feet is in the tire well.

Here is what I am getting done. (since my (1) 10" is not cutting it)

I want to place (3) 12" Rockford Fosgate Hx2's in a fiberglass enclosure in the tire well. Each sub needs .65 cubic feet.

I will settle for (2) Rf 12's but I want to place (3) of them in there.

I am dropping the car off tomorrow and it should be done by Saturday. I'll post pics once they are completed.

Anyone know if (3) will fit. I want the placement to be where when you look in the trunk, you see nothing. They are building a cover for the subs also, so I can use the entire trunk.

Thanks for any replies! Here is a picture of the 10" box that is getting tossed. Any takers? name your price plus shipping. I paid $175 for the box.

Here is the cover for the strut bar. Not sure if I am keeping that or not, more than likely not, so I will include that with the box if I don't keep it.

i am going with 2 12's .. barely enough space at 1cu ft each... that is of course you want the floor at the same level it was ... you can raise the floor but then you loose cargo space

So I guess I will use the (2) 12's and skip on the third one. Thanks for the info.

I'll let you know how it turns out

Okay, I appreciate the overwhelming responses to my thread

But I am only going with (2) 12" HX2's due to me being picky and not wanting to raise the floor. I wanted it to look flush.
It will be ready Sat, so I'll post pics then,

Okay, got my car back today. I am so happy witht he sound, it totally blows the (1) 10" I had. No comparison. I can't even see my rear view mirror and the bass **** is only 1/4 of the way up.
I was a little dissapointed in the false grill cover they painted. It has the RF logo, but I was mad because they didn't even ask. But at least it covers the hole. I cans tore things in there now, so its pretty cool.

And another thing they kept my 10" box and they forgot to take my spare tire tools out. Now the tools are stuck in there. I am a little mad about that since I paid for the box. But I got this install for free, only had to pay for materials, so its all good. Fiberglass is truly amazing.

Enjoy the pics. Sorry I couldn't get any pics of the install process, I was working at the time.

I like the new set up. Did you install all your wiring for amps and what not yourself?
