I'm almost ready to do my aftermarket stereo install, but, I have no idea where I'm going to mount the PAC IR module. I do not want to be ghetto and just have this wire hanging out someplace.

Can anyone share their ideas here - preferably with pics.

Which aftermarket radio are you going to use. Nowadays most manufactures have an input for steering wheel interface. What this means is that you still have to use a third party adaptor, but you no longer need an in IR eye mounted somewhere.

 

My HU is older, but, I really like it. Kenwood KDC-MPV5025.

 

I'm going to bump this for a few days.. I don't think the audio section is visited as much as others. Hopefully someone will come along with a suggestion.

 

one more bump to see if anyone has suggestions on IR sensor mount locations.
