AMP: Special Edition bt Phillips sound labs (not phillips/magnavox) 4X100 (bridged to 2X100 and 1X200w-sub)

the install is not all the great (time and resources, plus I don't show this thing)

it is bolted into the location where the stock Bose "sub" woofer goes

sub comes out like and slides like a seat on rails, I didn't want top lose valuble trunk space, this was the best thing I could find, the rails came with the sub (btw, the sub box rivals any mid-fi home stereo cabnit in quality)

RodH,

How do you like the dash kit? I remember reading that you had it color matched, how'd that turn out?

Installation/fit/finish good?

the dash kit is AWESOME, it was a good way to go, looks much better, imo, that the shiny black mantra kit.

the only slight complaint I have, look at the bottom center, it is slightly raised up, my buddy that use to work as circuit city and installed a ton of systems said that I should wait a few weeks, and it being int he sun, should help to bring it down a bit, if not we willl use a heat gun and fix it.

I love the finish on it

Default Focal Sub

I was looking into the same sub and enclosure, but I can't seem to find a good deal on it--the guy at the stereo shop was a dick. Anyhow, where and how much did you get it for?

Sound deadening is one of the most important things, just don't get ripped off on Dynamat.

Try:

eDead http://www.edesignaudio.com (check out the equipment the manufacture too, top line stuff for good prices)
second skin http://secondskinaudio.com (this guy gives out great deals, I recommend!)
brown bread (forgot the link)
etc.

They are all glorified roofing material, and all work great.
