*posted this in my regional forum, figured i should share with the folks here too
so i finally got off my ass and finished my speaker box project. putting a 12 in the G trunk wasn't an easy task with the low clearance. it was even harder to get the airspace volume i needed while maintaining a somewhat usable trunk and getting it tuned to a good sounding frequency. i ended up with a total volume of 1.63 cu. ft. and a tuning frequency of ~38 or 39 Hz. making the facade was a challenge too, but i think it turned out ok. here's pics:![](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/icon38.gif)

thanks guys. yeah, its a couple years old. the last year they made the cone with the glass fiber front. the year before was the nicer looking one cause the weave was black and white checker, not all black like mine. i still like it a lot though.
