Hu wiring help

Default Hu wiring help

i installed a kenwood ddx-6019 and its been great until i drove it at night. lol
WAY too bright. apparently i didnt hook up the dimmer correctly. the kenwood manula says its the or/wht wire on the hu(dimmer control), what does it go to in the harness?
oh and its an 07

Did you cut the stock harness plug or get an adapter? the adapater has a wire set aside for dimmer so it should be easy to locate.

orange/black wire or orange/white wire.... Get DMM or a test light and test it by turninig on lights on and off and connect it to the HU

i did get it straightened out but... when i turn the lights on it gets brighter!

Probably try testing out the wire with a test light, and turn on headlights to see if the test light dims???... That or you have the wrong wire connected
