Hey guys quick question... on the factory harness terminal 5 is the antenna signal terminal ("power antenna" listed in after market). My question is does this simply act as a remote line to power on the antenna amplifier (meaning +12 volts?) if so can I just jump it to the ignition switch terminal 10?

Why is the reason you ask? Do you have a after market deck in the car if so mine has lower signal strength and the people at the car audio said i need a amplifier for the radio.

 

Im installing a carputer and am trying to integrate an HD radio unit i bought which has an antenna input. I guess I will see when I get it in. I was just wondering if I gave it 12v it would work
